I purchased an Uploady Premium account with my own money to benchmark throughput, parallel download behavior, and free-tier limitations on a domestic fiber connection.

Free Tier Performance: 461 KB/s
Uploady’s public download pages claim free speeds are capped at 100 KB/s. In my testing with a 767 MB file, actual throughput hovered around 461 KB/s. While faster than advertised, the download required 28 minutes, preceded by a 60-second waiting counter and a CAPTCHA challenge.
Premium Account Speed Benchmarks
Browser Single File: 16.5 MB/s
A direct 1.1 GB transfer in Google Chrome achieved a sustained 16.5 MB/s without plug-ins or special configurations, completing in roughly 68 seconds.
Browser Dual Parallel: ~28 MB/s Combined
Running two concurrent browser streams produced 13.4 MB/s and 14.5 MB/s, delivering approximately 28 MB/s combined throughput.
JDownloader 2 (4 Links): 42.14 MiB/s Combined
JDownloader 2 provided the highest overall throughput. Four simultaneous file downloads ran at 7.54, 11.77, 12.52, and 10.31 MiB/s, yielding a verified combined rate of 42.14 MiB/s (~353 Mbps).
What I Don’t Like About Uploady
- Daily bandwidth caps: Premium accounts are not unlimited; daily allowances range between 50 GB and 300 GB.
- Ambiguous reset time: Terms note a 24-hour reset cycle without specifying a universal midnight timezone.
- Variable routing: ISP peering to Uploady’s storage servers varies by geography; speeds reflect my connection, not a SLA guarantee.

Final Verdict
Uploady Premium solves speed, queueing, and CAPTCHA friction entirely. For users handling regular multi-gigabyte files, 16.5 MB/s browser transfers and 42 MiB/s multi-stream JDownloader downloads deliver exceptional speed. Check your expected daily transfer volume against plan quotas before purchasing.
